Texting or talking on the phone while operating a vehicle is something nearly every driver is guilty of at some point, if not daily. It may not seem like a big deal at the time, you may think you're such a good driver that you've got it under control. But the reality is that the simple act of driving is dangerous itself...adding further distraction worsens the possibility of tragedy.
With all the advances of technology these days there is no real reason why any of us should be taking our eyes and hands off the driving wheel to text, use applications and answer or make calls. There are apps you can run as soon as you get in the car that will allow voice command for text, dialing, address book, navigation and more. Simple stereo blue tooth will allow you to hear your call through your car's speakers. You can literally dock your phone and not have to touch it at all for any reason.

Car accidents affect, you, your passengers and any people or things you hit...as well as the family and friends of everyone involved. I do not want to be responsible for negatively affecting the lives of several others simply because I wanted to reply to an email about a meeting next week or text about meeting up with a friend tomorrow. What if that one text prevented me from being alive or in great health...guess that movie and meeting wouldn't be so important anymore.
