I love living in Florida. The weather, scenery, beaches...snakes. Okay, that last mention was obviously sarcastic. I live on a lake front property, which is awesome. But with the pros of a lake front home you also run into a few cons.

There's nothing like heading to your office area and having a good ol' uninvited visitor waiting for you! In the photo you may not be able to see clearly. But that skinny, curled up thing behind the shelf is the end part of a long, fast, angry snake.

I have no clue how it got in the house. We tried to trap him so we could put him back outside. He didn't feel like playing so he tried to bite me twice. I'm very delicate and scar easily so at that point I was over it and decided to call for help.

The snake has now propped itself all comfy in a bedroom, which we quickly closed and sealed the door to keep him there. We've now been waiting for the "help" to come for over an hour. Nice.
