Recurring Nightmare
I've got a new recurring nightmare...at least it's a nightmare to this princess! It all started when my love told me he loves steak for breakfast. This must be new since it has never been brought to my attention in the past. Fact: Princess Mina does not know how to make steak. Wonder why? Well so did he.
Well, I told my silly rabbit my simple answer: I do not like steak, therefore I've never had a reason to learn how to make it. But of course, by the time we move I will make it happen. He said in his smarty pants way that I should Google how to make him steak. Well, my memory is pretty everlasting so most conversations stick in my head word for word.
So, lately I've been having this recurring dream where I proudly make his precious steak for breakfast. He eats the entire meal and then says "You didn't make my steak how I like it so you are going to sleep on the sofa until you learn to make it right". That may not be a nightmare to you but to me it is highly disturbing on many levels. Me, the princess, sleep on the sofa? Umm no homesauce, you sleep on the sofa and cook your own flippin food with that attitude!
The first time I had the dream it was so real I almost called him at work to tell him where he could shove his steak and his unappreciative tush should plan on bonding with the sofa! Then I realized it was just a dream. Good thing my honey is not really like that and would never try to pull such violation. But what the fluffernutter, can I have a new dream now?!!! Maybe if I simply confront the issue and learn to make steak, the dreams will stop.
