ANEW - At Home Mineral Facial

I recently started using Anew Rejuvenate Mineral Facial Rinse-Off Treatment by AVON. This is a newly released product and I am loving it! I adore my skin but this Florida weather sometimes causes my face to dry and flake. It can be hard finding the right products to use here without getting dry or too oily. This makes my face feel like baby skin and I don't even feel like I need moisturizer (my SPF has moisturizer in it anyway).

In the photo below I have no makeup on, not one pinch! I don't wear makeup everyday however coming from a modeling past, I'm not one to take a photo for public display without makeup. So for me to post a photo with not even eyeliner or mascara is a big deal! I even used one of the photos as my new default image on the right sidebar. That's how much I'm loving this at home facial.

The directions say use 3 times a week but I only used it twice a week to start and now just once a week. You don't need to use much, twist the top to open, squeeze and gently brush onto your face. Here is exactly what I do:

1. Wash with my normal cleanser
2. Apply mineral facial
3. Rinse off in shower after about 10-15 minutes
4. Apply SPF moisturizer

It's that simple. No matter how you use it, just make sure you use it on clean skin before applying moisturizer. It's $20 from AVON but lasts a long time. I've paid $35 at the spa for one treatment. I love being able to get a spa facial and maintain the great result at home in between visits since I do not go often. If you try it, let me know what you think!

Take Off Your Flippin Shades!

My friend C and I were at a club and this guy comes up and really wants to talk to me and his friend wanted to talk to C. You know how it is in a club. Dark and crowded and let's just say I hadn't exactly been drinking water all night. Part of the convo:

Guy: So you think your friend will give my boy her number?
Me: Nope. She's really awesome! Really.

Guy: It's like that? Well can I get your number?
Me: Hold on.

Me: C, what do you think?
C: He's cute.
Me: I can't tell.

Me: Hey, can you take your sunglasses off? I can't see your face.
C: Hahaha! Mina you're hilarious, I love you!

Almost everyone looks okay with shades on! So I think that was a justifiable request and there are no UV rays in a nightclub playboy! People wearing sunglasses in a nightclub look ridiculous! Hmm, I think I just came up with a new post topic! The photo to the left is not the guy being referred to in this post but oddly similar looking. (Photo credit The Blaq List).

He took the shades off for a second. I don't really remember the rest, I just know we left those dudes in the dust. Thank goodness because I'm usually so against giving my number out at a club! I've been told that I often say things bluntly. Not on purpose, I just don't like to be fake.
