Completely Random
So this is completely random but I have always wondered why medical office appointments take so long. Mostly the time spent in the waiting area. I mean why not schedule patients with ample time for the doctor to prepare for the next appointment? If my appointment is at 9am, I will be waiting forever to get called in. Then wait for the medical assistant, then wait for the doctor. So why schedule another patient at 9:30am for the same doctor? The doctor will not be ready for them.What's with the long wait and what's with the horrible scheduling? At least have some entertaining magazines for me to read. Sure its a medical office and some people like health magazines but where are the options for other interests? Plus sitting an a doctor's office reading a health article can turn you into a bit of a hypochondriac!
And just when you think you're done they send you for blood work or x-rays. Even though the lab, etc may be in the same building, its a different office with a whole new waiting process! For the love of mankind, don't send me on another waiting adventure. I'm a very anxious person, it is very hard for me to sit still if I have nothing to hold my attention. Lubby swears I have ADD...umm yea babe, who doesn't? Lol
